Hot on the heels of being appointed for another multi million pound project for Leicestershire County Council Thinking buildings have recently handed over a new entrance project at St Mary’s Primary School in South Gloucestershire. Whilst much smaller in scale than some of our other work it shows that projects of all sizes can really make a difference. The project involved re-instating the school entrance in its original Victorian location (including re-using the original front door), creating a fantastic new landscaped entrance plaza, and internal reconfiguration to group the administrative functions and new secure entrance together at the front of the school. The finished project looks great and the reinstatement of the original entrance is once again a significant focal point and welcoming presence within the local community. The project was constructed by Rapid Response Construction who have proven themselves to be a thoroughly reliable, positive and flexible contractor.
