The school sits on the Scheduled Monument of Winchcombe Abbey, so we’ve been working with Cotswold Archaeology and English Heritage to agree the most appropriate locations on the school site for the new building. After detailed discussions we’re delighted to submit a planning application and an application to English Heritage for Scheduled Monument Consent. The application was supported by an archaeological appraisal and a statement of archaeological impact and mitigation.
