How To Use Traditional Design Sensitivity When Appropriate

Thinking Buildings latest project in design is for a significant rear extension to a Grade II listed cottage in a sensitive Conservation Area. On this occasion, we put our contemporary pens away and have developed a sensitive design using traditional form, shape and oak framing. As a practice, our approach is always to consider what is most appropriate rather than adopting a ‘practice style’ on all of our projects.
