In many ways the site phase can be the most satisfying part of the build process. All the work and preparation coming together to make for a smooth process through the build phase.
Thinking Buildings have been working on this project for the extension and refurbishment of a Grade II listed farmhouse near Stow-on-the-Wold since early 2018, and we’ve been really enjoying seeing that work come to fruition on site over the past few months. The external shell is complete, and now the internal fit out can progress through the colder months.
It’s great to look back at the original building (who doesn’t love a good before and after shot?!) and see how well the new extension complements the building, better than the original lean form. The stonework is already blending in beautifully, and by spring will be looking like it was always there. A successful outcome for a heritage setting, we think you’ll agree.
