What great news just before Christmas, a scheme we’re working on for a private client has been granted full planning permission for change of use from farm building to a residential dwelling house.
We worked closely with the client and extensively with the planners to obtain approval for this conversion. The barn is set within a courtyard arrangement, with the main farmhouse being a Grade II listing. The barn will be converted into a 2/3 bedroom property for use as an annexe or holiday-let. The client could also sell the barn off separately as a standalone house as the approval is independent of the main farmhouse.
