We were approached by a private client to produce a scheme for the development of an infill housing scheme on the site of a bungalow. The existing bungalow occupied a heavily planted site surrounded on the majority of its boundaries by other housing. Access was limited to a narrow lane.
A scheme was developed, in conjunction with a planning consultant and highways engineer to seek to make most the most efficient use of the site whilst respecting the neighbours amenity. Many layouts were considered and after liaison with the local planning authority a scheme was submitted for planning and approved.
