Our most recent project to hit site is the refurbishment and conversion of this curtilage listed building on a large estate near Burford. The building originally housed a turbine generator to power the manor house, but fell into disuse in the 1960s. We have worked with the client to develop a scheme to convert it to a flexible studio and workshop space, to support the activities already happening on the estate.
Stuart Barr Construction have been working hard and having stripped the structure back to its base structure are now preparing to put a new Cotswold stone slate roof on in the next few weeks. We look forward to bringing you more news of this project over the summer and seeing this building come back to life after being unloved for some many decades.
