Thinking Buildings delighted to be nominated for the Oxford Preservation Trust Awards
We were delighted to be nominated and involved in the Oxford Preservation Trust awards that shows our growing reputation and workload in and around the City. Sadly, we didn’t win a prize at the awards dinner – the project was obscured from public view which is a main judging criteria of the awards. That said, we are really proud of this scheme that sits in the Headington Conservation Area, and the way that the design of the new extension provides a clear visual sequence from the original 18th-century former school house, the 1980’s rear extension and our 21st-century addition.
The project was superbly built and crafted by Stuart Barr with OMK providing the structural and civil engineering.
Hopefully, we will have something to submit this year……watch this space.
